ALL IZZ WELL
The Movie has touched the hearts and minds of all the 7 people group of ours, who went to the movie together. I am sure it would have stroked the chords with all the people in the theatre. Such a beautiful picture it was. In the first 15 minutes, Aamir (Ranchore Das), as a part of his role says ye jo dil hain na use bewakoof banake rakho, hamesha bolo ki “AALL IZZ WELL”. This may be a good joke, but the phrase has a very deeper and very wise meaning hidden in it. It essentially says don’t let pressure touch your heart, because a lot of things work out fine even without me taking the pressure on my heart. Just be calm and composed.
Aamir looked 5 years younger than how he looked in RDB. My Father says, Aamir just looks like he was in Papa Kehte hain song and the only difference he notices is, that he has was a little thin then (is it my dad getting old or Aamir not getting old? I am confused). Ranchore Das is the person who loves to learn. And the movie shows the difference between “to learn” and “being trained”. The character for a moment makes me feel, learning science is an art too.
The movie is about doing what I like to do and what I like to learn rather than what has been imposed on me.
The song “Give me some sunshine” is just the life of me is what I felt. I was surprised to know that, all others in our group saying same thing to me. I thought it’s just made for me. They thought it’s made for them. This is to be called brilliance. Nothing else qualifies. The song has a very simple way of saying, live your life.
This movie should be watched twice for sure. If you are a movie lover then twice is the lower limit. I am a fan of Aamir, so I will watch it as many times as I can afford to. By the way please visit a theatre near you. Help stop Piracy.
Bye for now and whenever you think you are in deep shit do not let your heart know that. Tell your heart “AALL IZZ WELL”

Post-Mortem
house filled with mourners & dim light.
Not of cancer, not of flu,
the reason? there's no clue!!
Was in the Army, served in the front
got a lot of medals, and was'nt a runt.
you might not agree with me, lucky was he,
his soul was around, to look at the funeral of his body!!
He was proud and happy of his social life,
but failed to care for his parents and wife.
all he was is Polo, Squash, friends and wine
his Mom and wife, longed for his presence at the dine
Today, mom weeps losing her son,
he wants to hold her and say i love you mom
he sees his wife fainted of shock
how he wished, his death was just a mock
polo mates didn't cry, nor did the mates of squash
buddies didn't turn up, who were at the last weekend bash
he realizes the mistake, when his coffin is decorated with silk,
its just a post-mortem, crying over spilled milk.
He got to see his last journey, which no one got
Was he really lucky, or was he not?
For him its a permanant good night,
because, as i told you, my friend passed away last night.
Every one loves their parents and wife. Many fail to express it. This is a humble request to all, to express how much you love your loved ones, how much you care for them and how important they are in your life and how vital they are in what you are today. Because only love is forever.

Why
Not because girls, not because wine,
its about passion, its about life's way
its about something, without which i cant stay.
My dad says go son, mom says why son
friends say have fun, god says, you are none
How do i say, how do i tell,
That i want it, i am ready to yell.
God, please listen to me
Make me, what i want to be
I promise i wont let you down
I would be best in the town
Show me the way, show me the path
help me out, be my northe
i want that piece of pride
let my soul glide.

Palm Readers
My phone was switched off, so had no calls
having a good time, having no thought
arrived then the palm reader, whome i caught.
Pious mark on the forehead,
turban rolled, in red
Closed in a cage, he had a parrot
He is a palm reader, but carries tarrot
I wished he was god, i had a question to ask him
why wouldnt i get it?, still stay so grim
when would i be what i want to be?
seldom do i realize, i am being lazy.
With my eyes going wet,
I realize, i am not there yet
Its not very far block,
i will have to slog.
God please help me get what i want. I just cant live without it. I request you. I would be a good boy. I wont bother my mom, i would help the needy. God please help me in this.

A few Lines
How I wish, my acts were a little more fruitful
Life is full of acts, acts are filled with life
How I wish, our words were are a little more thoughtful

Rakhi Ka Swaymwar. (What happened to us)
Lekin, swayamwar on TV. Shaadi ko ek show banaadenna is a little over the limits, I would have respected Rakhi more if she would have not thought of telecasting over the national television. Above that, the television owners, man these people are the true mean machines. I can never imagine anyone who is more business minded that these television producers.
A woman getting married, in a swayamwar, telecasting over the TV. Mad people like me watching and getting mad behind it. Increased TRP's. More money to the producers and more fame to Rakhi and her dulha(s). I wonder what would have encouraged that 22 year lad to get married to a woman who is more than 30 years. If it is not for money and fame, i dont see a genuine reason behind it. Man you are just 22. You just came out of adoloscence. Get that ass back to school.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Reading :) Books, I completed reading recently

An insight into India's freedom movement, from an English point of view. Lot of new things to be learnt from the book. One such thing is, once the nation was granted freedom, the then leaders, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Patel etc, didn't know what to do and requested Lord Mountbatten, to stay back and assist them in administration.
Wings of Fire:
Special Forces: By Anthony Kemp
This book provides us with a brief understanding of the origin and development of Special Forces. Helps us understand how these units work and their capabilities. It also provided intriguing stories behind these elite forces. Although, the book refers to most of the Special Force units across the globe, it is more focused on the Special Air Service Regiment (SAS), which is a Special Forces unit of the British.
The initial SAS troops were asked to rob their own units in order to form a SAS unit. Some men even robbed a Piano from the officers mess.
